Family Summerfest Trips July 10
(Thursday) - Archeology class at the St. Louis Art Museum and Picnic in Forest
Park
Depart from church at 9 a.m. (carpool). Cost:
none. Because of the construction at their site, study has been changed to
"Digging Up the Past - Archeology. Students will explore several ancient
cultures, create an ancient artifact, and receive a Museum sketchbook and pencil
at no cost. Please bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in the park after our
museum visit. We will return mid afternoon.
July 22 (Tuesday) - Trip to Botanical Garden and
Children's Garden
Depart from church at 10:30 a.m. (carpool). Cost:
none. Bring picnic lunch. We will go to Tower Grove Park first for
an early lunch and then go to the Botanical Gardens. Passes have been
generously donated, so this event is offered free of charge. Prepare your
kids to get wet! The Children's Garden has fountains to jump in.
