We have kind and compassionate preschool workers who will care for your child as
you enjoy Bible study and worship.

Children's Ministry and King's Kids
|
After the music portion of the morning worshp service, children may participate in a
children's worship time designed especially for them. They will have fun learning about God.
King's Kids is a special children's club that meets on Sunday evenings at designated times of
the year where puppets, games, music and Bible adventures help children learn about God. Throughout the year
our children's ministry has special events for boys and girls. Vacation Bible School in the summer,
fun field trips to places like the zoo, and children's parties around the holidays are just some of our activities.

Youth Ministry (7th - 12th grades)
|
Our youth ministry offers fun events for students as well as significant Bible study and teaching times to disciple young people.
Missions are a strong emphasis in our youth ministry. We regularly participate in service projects in our community. Our
desire to help our students grow spiritually and understand that Christ's desire is that we consistently reach our to those around
us who are in need. We want our students to know that they are not just the future church - they are the church today!

Senior Adult Ministry
|
OASIS (Older Adults Sharing in Service) meets each month for inspiration, entertainment and fellowship.
We also have special activities and day trips for seniors.

Ladies Ministries
|
Florissant Valley offers numerous opportunities for adults to participate in a variety
of ministries. Bible studies and in-home small groups are available for men and women. Service
projects are planned in the St. Louis area, as well as many “just for fun” events for you and your
family.

Men's Ministries
|

Room At The Inn
|
This ministry helps meet the needs of the homeless by providing shelter, job training
and much more. Florissant Valley serves as a “night site” by offering transportation, meals
and overnight housing for participants of Room At The Inn.
|
Music Ministry and Worship
|
Worship is central to what we do at Florissant Valley. Our music ministry offers opportunities for meaningful
and exciting worship experiences through the leadership of our choir and praise band. Our prayer is that we lead
people into the very presence of God. We also want God's people to be able to share thier gifts and talents to further God's Kingdom.
Our praise band leads us in contemporary style praise and worship and our pastor shares powerful, life-transforming truth from
God's Word.

Puppet Ministry
|
The Digital Praise Team is a fun way to minister to children and adults. Members of this team get to put on
programs for many community events. Ages 6th grade to age 103 participate in a real hands-on approach to reaching people.

|
Food Pantry
|
Our church members donate food for needy families in our community. We keep canned and boxed food at our church to help
those in a crisis situation. We give enough to help them get by for the few days it takes to get real help. All donations of food
are greatly appreciated.

Prayer Ministry
|
We believe in the power of prayer. We would love to pray for you or have you join us in this vital ministry. If you call
or send a prayer request to us, make sure you send us updates so we can see the power of God through our prayers.

Mission Trips
|
|
Jesus said, "Go make disciples of all nations." (Matthew 18:19) Our church wants to be obedient to this great commission that Jesus gave.
We want to support mission efforts through praying, giving, and going. Our most recent church mission trips were to Matamoras,
Mexico and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to do construction work and share the love of Jesus. We hope to make these trips
more frequent and varied. Please, contact the church for information on our next mission trip.

G.R.O.W. Ministry
|
G.R.O.W. Ministry is the outreach ministry of our church. G.R.O.W. is an acronym that stands for God
Rewards Our Work. God makes things grow, but we have our part in growth. God blesses those who do
the things that lead to growth. When we truly love God and love people, it leads to growth. When we
contact people to demonstrate that love, it leads to growth. G.R.O.W. consists of four teams that
meet once a month to contact people through visits, phone calls, and cards or letters. There's a
place for you in G.R.O.W. Ministry. Grow with us!

Additional Mission Opportunities
|
Jesus told his disciples to be a witness in "Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the
ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8) This verse reminds us that God wants His love shared with those
close by geographically, our Jerusalem, and those far away, the ends of the earth. Our church is
involved in many ways to take His love to our "neighbors" across the street and around the world.
In addition to ministries such as Angel Food Ministries, Room At the Inn, and our food pantry, we
also provide benevolence ministry to those in need when we can and send Christmas boxes to needy
children through Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan's Purse. Offerings to provide
for missions efforts here and abroad, a world hunger emphasis, and Compassion Sunday where we have
an opportunity to sponsor needy children are additional ways we seek to make an impact for Christ.
